NCC-92918
USS Caliburn
Miranda class

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Caliburn

Caliburn was constructed in 2332 and after several decades of service was sent to be a school ship. Even then she was considered to be quite an antique, but her durable and sturdy design saved her from being dismantled for parts and materials. Now almost 80 years after she was constructed Caluburn was pulled out from cadet training facilities back on active duty because the new crisis forced Federation to scramble every ship possible.
Her new commander was Robert MacDougal, former supply officer from USS Independence, who was desperately trying to assemble a crew and make her fit for duty. Fortunately for her and her commander, new chief engineer was upgrading her systems fast and efficiently. Unfortunately that same chief engineer was a bit too overzealous and refits sometimes took longer than expected because chief engineer put some dubious systems on Caliburn without captain's approval, and had to take them off.

Caliburn managed to survive her first voyage after 40 years of dormancy on which the crew scanned several planets for ore deposits and avoided being blown to bits by Orion pirates because of her first officer's diplomatic skills. The only real problem was lack of doctor onboard.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Cal

After several assignments near neutral zone and minor exploration missions Caliburn run into the Emerald Pirate, an infamous Orion criminal who tried to capture Caliburn luring it into a trap within the Briar Patch nebula. After fierce combat Emerald Pirate's flagship Plunder was destroyed, and the fate of Emerald Pirate is still unknown. Caliburn exited the combat badly damaged and was pulled out of duty once more.
It is still unknown why was the Emerald Pirate interested in Caliburn and her crew.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Caldes

Caliburn's crew:

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... MacDougal
Commanding officer: Robert MacDougal, son of the space criminal.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Diana
First officer and counselor: Diana Lyosana Bright, good natured half-Betazoid.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Sasha
Second officer and chief tactical officer: Aleksandra Vasilieva MacDougal, former security officer from Independence and Robert's wife.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Church
Chief medical officer: None, sickbay was operated by EMH mark 2 and nurse Martha Church, a veteran nurse.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Angie
Chief Engineer: Angelique Aveline, liberated Borg who often makes modifications to the ship without captain's permission.

NCC-94156 (formerly NCC-1747)
USS Morning Star
Constitution Class

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... MS2

The tale of Morning Star spans several generations and is an odd one. She was launched in 2285 and soon afterwards mysteriously vanished near Romulan neutral zone. All communications ceased and it seemed as the ship and her crew disappeared without a trace. There was no signs of battle or any other clues of what may happen ti her. Several years after the incident first stories about the ghost ship appearing in the sector surfaced. The ship was always appearing briefly, before any detailed could be made, but it was certain the ghost ship was in fact Federation Constitution class. Somewhere in 2299 its registration code was noticed so it was confirmed that the ghost ship is in fact the lost Morning star. The stories continued but all were unconfirmed. Some said the ship just appeared and disappeared, some said it appeared and helped with defeating pirates or Romulans and then again vanished, third said they were attacked by the ship itself, so the mystery continued. Many started claiming that the Morning Star is a bad omen, appearing only when something bad is about to happen.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... MS1

In 2387, 102 years after its disappearance Morning Star was found drifting near the neutral zone, and indeed whole galaxy was in peril, and Romulus was destroyed soon afterwards. Coincidence or not, she did not disappear again and was towed back to be researched, and finally put as a museum exhibit. Research of Morning Star's logs gave no clues of what happened. Inside of the ship was clean and pristine as if it was just launched. Everything looked normal except there was no crew. All of crew's belongings were in their places and many items were as if they were used in one moment and in the second the crew vanished somehow. Except for few missing photon torpedoes everything seemed creepily in order. After unsuccessful investigation ship was put as space museum exhibit and her haunted reputation grew.

But when war broke out and all available ships were mustered, old Morning Star got a quick refit and was given to unfortunate captain MacDougal whole last ship Caliburn was badly damaged in a battle with Orion pirates. Ironically captain MacDougal joked how Caliburn was a museum piece, and since universe has peculiar sense of irony, now he got a real museum piece that also has a haunted reputation. MacDougal's problems did not end here, his chief engineer still ha tendency to go on the rampage with unauthorized modifications, and although he finally got a doctor for his ship it was no one but doctor Zhen Idisha, famous for being a brilliant medic with absolutely terrible personality. As one and only piece of luck nurse Church was working with doctor Idisha most of the time for last 20 years and is seemingly only person able to interpret doctor's yammerings and complains to other crew, and vice versa, to interpret other crew's wishes to disgruntled doctor.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... MS3

Now Morning Star and her motley crew got more dangerous tasks. Before they were mostly doing exploration, patrol and war relief missions, now they are expected to have real combat assignments. Will the crew hold or will MacDougal fail in keeping them all together? Also it truly seems that the ship is somehow haunted... systems turn on and off without a reason and many crewmembers started to report a ghostly figure walking around the corridors when lights are out.

New additions to MacDougal's crew:

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Doctor
Doctor Zhen Idisha: Brilliant doctor, and actually kind-hearted Andorian with terrible personality. He can't say no to a challenge.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Pat4
Pat IV: Doctor Idisha's pet tribble, fourth in the line.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Klang
Klang D'Ren: Klingon technician who gets along well with chief Aveline's weapons upgrading plans (and oddly with Doc Zhen too).

NCC-92294
USS Nightsparrow
Akira Class

After being escort to USS Galileo during Riashaala Idisha's deadly vacation, USS Morning Star proceeded to patrol Romulan neutral zone. Around coordinates where Morning star originally disappeared it again hit possibly the same anomaly. The anomaly pslit Morning Star into three variants, locked in three different phases: red, green and blue. Three crews in different color spectrums and phases had to work together to get literally in one piece, but when that finally happened, there was one crewmember extra... last surviving original crewmember of the Morning Star. She was imprisoned somewhere in between spaces and on rare occassions when Mornng Star's three parts managed to get together for short periods of time she tried to contact and call for help, but it was all for nothing and turned into space ghost stories. That is until Hobus supernova incident that was also somehow responsible for fully restoring Morning Star. But, even as Morning Star was back its last survivor was not, so the new crew had a lot of ghost stories of mysterious figure appearing and ship's systems that worked on its own. But after hitting anomaly again and restoring the ship (with main help of red, green and blue chief engineer Avelines, whose mental patterns remained the same in all three realities and who almost at the same time had the same idea how to prevent another full vanishing) the last crewmember, Liutenant Kuini Ko Wai'Ona, was returned to full life.

After that incident captain MacDougal and his crew got promoted and got... another strange ship to command. Kuini wished to stay with them.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... NS

USS Nightsparrow is a ship that saw the most of Dominion war and many conflicts afterwards until recently she was subdued by Borg and almost fully assimilated. It was saved by quick Starfleet action, and most of its crew was saved, but the ship itself was still working with a lot of Borg technology. While it was not spreading aggressively as usual, it was also almost impossible to remove for some reason. That is why Starfleet decided to give it to MacDougal's crew and chief Aveline, since by now the whole crew got a reputation about handling odd and unusual ships and problems.

Needless to say, captain MacDougal was not overly happy when he found out about that reputation, although chief Aveline seemed quite happy with it. To make matters worse, a new crewmember was assigned to the ship; auxiliary officer Puck, also known as Puck the Great Acquirer, a ferengy supplies officer who seemingly with his Starfleet duties runs a semi-legal trading business using the ship as his free and mobile base. MacDougal's wife Sasha is also not overly happy with Kuini prancing around in short and revealing old uniform around the bridge with her Kirk-era "loose morals".

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... NS2

Now again MacDougal has an odd ship to command, one that may any time turn on him and assimilate the whole crew and his motley crew is even more handful to handle.

New additions to MacDougal's crew:

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Kuini
Kuini Ko Wai'Ona: Former "ghost" of Morning Star, helms(wo)man extraordinaire with cowboy mentality of ages past.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Puck
Puck the Great Acquirer: Supplies officer who aside from his duties can get anything you want. For a favor or a price, of course.

NCC-96250-C
USS Arcadia
Defiant Class

Odd tale of Nightsparrow was a short one, to its crew great relief. Chief Engineer Aveline managed to steal Romulan data on Borg technology research and integration of it into their ships. By simply inverting the process she soon fully "cured" the ship of its Borg taint. During the time it was under command of Captain MacDougal, Nightsparrow mostly run patrol, rescue and support missions in neutral zone, but after the crew managed to single-handedly stop full scale Gorn invasion MacDougal got promoted and finally offered a permanent ship to command. It was a Galaxy-class ship, but MacDougal flatly refused the command of it to the great shock of his superiors. His reasoning was that he functions much better and more efficiently on ships with small crews, not flying cities of hundreds of people. So, he and his crew ended up on Arcadia, a Defiant class ship.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... A1

Arcadia just recently finished its refit from old technology to new and compact one. Thus, even if in size smaller than Nightsparrow it seems much more spacious. To MacDougal's great pleasure, its bridhe was not cramped tactical one but nicer and bigger one, if still not grandiose as bigger ships have them. But it felt more like home now. Small crew, friends and even family. And what is best it was not odd ship... at least everyone believed that until chief Aveline found a strange data packet inside of main computer. It's size is quite big, but also it seemed to be encrypted for soem reason and could not be copied or deleted. Starfleet also seemingly did not know the origin of that data packet. MacDougal on the other hand was sure that they played him again and gave him an odd ship with something they hoped he will solve again.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... A2

On the crew's side the things seemingly remained the same. Doc Idisha and Klang continued their games (to a great amusement of the crew), chief engineer Aveline continued making odd gadgets and being asocial, Aleksandra and Kuini's bitter rivalry continued, Puck got quite rich in short period of time (and opened a betting business on Zhen and Klang) and Robert, Nurse Church and first officer Bright continued to try to keep it all under control.

As Arcadia's crew adventures continue so is their family growing. Two new additions to the crew added even more merry chaos to everyday life onboard of Arcadia.

First there is (in)famous Violeta Pulsar or, as she prefers to be called, VIP, Princess, Smartest Creature in the Univesrse, Absolute Genius or Vivi (depending on her mood). She is without a doubt one of the most brilliant minds Federation has. Unfortunately she is also to all accounts crazy as a cucumber. Her approach to science is unorthodox, to say it mildly. Her wacky scientific ideas sometimes actually work, but sometimes cause a disaster. In all cases Violeta seems to be happy with the result because she learned something new, but being absent-minded she forgets it after few days (and causing that she "rediscovers" what she already did before). To everyone's great dismay chief Aveline is all too happy to help Violeta with her mad inventions.

Second to come was Suvak, a Vulcan security expert who wished to join MacDougal's crew. He thought he will learn much from the legendary crew that tackled and solved several of Federations most problematic ships and missions, but instead he ended up on a ship where no one acted entirely as he or she was supposed to. Not even his infallible logic could find any sense when confronted with this motley crew. He thought he will find a kindred spirit in chief Aveline but soon he realized that she only seemingly thinks logically, but often also does things that make little sense.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... VIP
Violeta Iris Pulsar: A scientist who thinks that the Galaxy is not yet ready for her genius.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Suvak
Suvak: Security officer trying to make sense of Arcadia's crew and deduce how is it possible that in the end they are so efficient.

The Great Tribble Crisis:
MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Tribbletrouble
The Crisis was caused by Violeta who wanted to use tribbles for her great new weapons systems experiment... if she could make a projector that multiplied and projected tribble's soothing purring, she could possible make a perfect non leathal weapon that could remove any thoughts of aggression. Unfortunately for her experimet she had thousands upon thousands of tribbles so she used doctor Idisha's pet tribble and removed its reproduction inhibitors. Soon Arcadia was conquered by a horde of tribbles. After days of cleaning all crew except Violeta swore that they will never speak of this incident again. Violeta on the other hand has a new idea based on augmented warrior tribbles.

Suhailah's return to power was actually a set of fortunate coincidences. After losing almost everything in her confrontation with USS Caliburn and captain MacDougal she was forced to try her luck in KDF in hope that she will use and abuse their resources for her own personal goals. With few smiles and winks here and strategically used caresses there she managed to get a command of a small bird of prey Naghboch which she promptly populated with her old pirate crew and soon afterwards renamed to Cutlass.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Cutlass

Her next stroke of good luck came when she went to a Bat'leth tournament to relax, see some violent sports and place some bets. By pure coincidence (and while being slightly drunk) she stumbled upon some assassins that wished to remove a rival house from the tournament. Thinking that the assassins are after her she disposed them quickly only to realize that she was being thanked as honorable and brave warrior by the members of the house who were actual targets. She was even asked to represent that house in an tournament since their champion unfortunately already fell to the assassins. she did that, and even won a first place, but unknowingly to everyone she did not fight very honorably. She used her Orion charms to befuddle her opponents a bit to gain an upper hand in tournament. Cheating is not cheating if you are not caught, after all. As a reward for bringing great honor to their house she was offered a small cruiser to command.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Star

But, she got a problem now. Cruisers have many crewmembers and regular KDF crew would be a hindrance to her "extracurricular activities" that include using KDF assignments for personal profit. So she made a cunning plan. She proposed to pick a crew from criminals and prisoners. Her reasoning to KDF was "to give those people one last chance to prove their honor in service to Empire", while actually she just wanted a crew that has nothing to lose and are quite happy with her own activities.

Her fixation on captain MacDougal continues as well. Some whisper that is is not just a revenge, that she sees him as her "Moby Dick". It also sems that she is naming her ships as a mockery to ships captain MacDougal used to command. After Cutlass which can be kind of a mockery of Caliburn, her new cruiser is named Dark Star.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Suha2
Suhailah a.k.a. The Emerald Pirate - Orion pirate oddly obsessed with captain MacDougal (some whisper about rejected love)

Many things happened onboard of Arcadia. Captain MacDougal finished his project of refitting her for sustained operation in space without Starfleet support. He presented upgrades and modifications made to Starfleet who agreed to let him start a test mission to see how it will fare in real space. If this project is successful, it may open doors to long range, deep space small ships being commissioned to Starfleet. While this is great news for captain Robert's dreams there was also a downside of it all... he had to remove his fancy huge bridge, since new equipment and modifications to Arcadia demanded extra space. In attempt to make him feel better the crew put on red carpeting on the new bridge... it did not help to elevate his mood.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Arcref

But there were some changes in crew roster too.
First officer Bright left her position for another job, a commanding assignment within Angel Fleet. Both MacDougals on board were hit hardest by this change. Sasha lost best friend while Robert lost only help in calming sometimes rampant spirits onboard of Arcadia. In absence of real new XO Aleksandra is filling that role.
Lieutenant Commander Wai'Ona went for extra tactical training onboard of the Independence where she caused quite a ruckus with refusing to wear proper uniform and pants. In her reasoning she claimed that she is a woman and will certainly not dress as a man, and besides showing some skin is good to raise morale among men onboard.
Doctor Zhen again refused a promotion, but that now put captain MacDougal in an problematic situation since chief medical officer had lowest rank in whole sickbay. So he bribed doctor Zhen with free use of a shuttlecraft and creating his own medical team. So Zhen become Lieutenant Commander and got his own "ship" so to say. He is as usual assisted by nurse Church and now with liutenant Suvak who is being responsible to keep an eye on doctor while using shuttle.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Zabathu

New additions to the active crew include:

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Ssana
Lutenant Ssana Sol - Doctor Zhen's saurian protegee and student.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Gilgul
Ensign Gilgul - Tellarite who quite fast joined Zhen-Klang clan, and almost blew up Arcadia's phaser array systems with his overcharge experiment.

Interestingly, after officer Bright left for her new job the odd computer data from Arcadia's memory banks disappeared. When asked about it captain, chief Aveline and Violeta say nothing as if nothing happened. It was just a... glitch?

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... EDP

NCC-91100
USS Eir
Centaur (custom) class

The Angel Fleet is a joint project of Starfleet and several outside private investors. It's purpose is to ease up logistics and command issues in the times of war or crisis from Starfleet, and as such deal with humanitarian, war relief and diplomatic assignments without any combat purpose except self defense. The hope in this idea is that be supported by all warring sides since it is supposed to be impartial in all political issues.
First ship launched for Angel fleet is USS Eir, a small modified Centaur ship under the command of former Starfleet officer Diana Bright.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... Eir2

Diana's first goal is to convince Klingons to participate and see this project as something useful, and not as fool's errand. That may be quite a hard task, but still she is willing to do it. If the project is proven to be successful more ships will be added to the fleet, so far Eir is the first and only one.

Current crew is:

For a moment it seemed that Suhailah's good luck waned away. Not only that her attempt to foil (and profit in meantime) Klingon-Federation peace conference failed because she was stopped by a group of mere scientists and puny nurses from Angel Fleet, but she also lost Durga who was taken by same group of weaklings in white. To make matters wore some of Klingon houses from the conference agreed to support that same Angel Fleet, and indirectly Federation's efforts against common enemies. As if that was not enough she also found out how her young cousin Asharru was imprisoned by Starfleet for piracy.
Furious she concocted an insane plan that ultimately paid up well to her.
Using Sholeh's contacts (spies) within Klingon houses she found out how a lot of Federation forces were sent to Gamma Orionis to fight Borg invasion, that included hated Independence Fleet and captain MacDougal, but also some of Klingon houses that signed before mentioned treaty penned by Angel fleet. That just fit her plan perfectly. Most of Federation's big guns were sent away.
First she made a reprise of her original plan that failed against captain MacDougal. She ambushed a Federation vessel and in quick pirate boarding took over control over it. The captain was sent to visit doctor Krux, and after several days of excruciating torture and pain codes for Sol defense grid were extracted. She stole what she could and destroyed the ship keeping one shuttle.
Then second part of the plan was initiated. Using codes to disable defense grid she made something no one would dare to think or expect... Dark Star made a raid on Utopia Planitia shipyards at Mars.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... MarsAttack

But it was all a ruse to pull what little ships were left in sol system from her real objective: a raid on a prison facility where her cousin and many other nefarious criminals were held. Using stolen shuttle she sneaked in and quickly released inmates causing prison riots. When that happened Dark Star stopped its attack and retreated to pick up fleeing shuttles that carried Suhailah, her band of cutthroats, released criminals and Asharru.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... SuhaAsh

When Independence Fleet and rest of Starfleet forces found out what was going on the operation was finished. Utopia Planitia shipyards suffered moderate damage and many of the worst criminals were set free.
When KDF found out what Suhailah did they were impressed beyond words about her bravery in something that was almost a suicide mission... attack at Sol itself. Of course they did not know that she did it purely for selfish reasons without even a single thought about Klingon Empire's honor or war.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... NST

For her accomplishments she was granted battlecruiser that she in her now expected manner renamed "Nightstalker".

Angel Fleet and USS Eir did better than anyone expected. Not only that they managed to solve several minor and greater diplomatic and humanitarian crises, but they also managed to get several Klingon houses to accept them and give them diplomatic immunity and even join Federation in joint defense against the Borg. So it was decided that Angel Fleet should get more personnel and ships. USS Eir was to be given to new crew that joined Angel fleet and the crew under Diana Bright was to be transferred to new ship, USS Aceso a custom Nova class vessel.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... AC

Transfer went without a problem, and Diana got few new officers. First is Nissa Vithi, Aenar helmswoman that came as requested by T'Dana since Angel Fleet was getting into more and more dangerous zones of space. although naturally blind she sees quite well because of her inborn powers and a little help of medical optics. the second newcomer is more disturbing member of the crew. Durga D'Ren, long thought to be dead but actually assimilated by the Borg, then "liberated" by suhailah the Emerald Pirate only to become her war and death machine, and finally truly liberated by Angel Fleet. She was successfully operated on by doctor Zhen and his students and chief Aveline and Borg implants were successfully removed. Diana Bright helped in Durga's mental recovery after which durga demanded to become a part of her crew. It seems that only Diana does not look at her suspiciously though.

The story of Suhailah's, sometimes merry and sometimes vicious, band of cutthroats and pirates who are pretending to be loyal servants of Klingon empire turned into bizarre and unexpected tale.
During one of her private pillaging tours (this time the target were ancient Klingon ruins and graves she accidentally discovered) she accidentally activated unknown portals in one temple unleashing something that almost endangered not only her, but also whole Klingon empire. From dimension unknown came ancient Klingon enemies, the Fek’Ihri. Fortunately no one knew that the Fek’Ihri invasion was actually her fault so she "bravely" joined defense efforts. To make things even more incredible it was her who was pronounced as a hero of the battle of Quo'nos since her team single-handedly defended Chancellor J’mpok.

As such she got great honor to accompany emperor Kahless himself on a great quest to find the legendary Sword of Kahless. Reports of what happened next are sketchy at best. Official epic tale (with accompanying song and opera) tells how emperor Kahless found the sword and bravely pushed back the Fek’Ihri horde to Gre'thor. In this task he was helped by bravest of the brave Klingon heroes and greatest and noblest warriors of other races that support the Empire. Suhailah's name was mentioned among those.

But some of the reports say how Suhailah actually tried to steal the sword of Kahless and for such crime was punished by being thrown to Gre'thor herself. In Gre'thor she was supposed to be tortured forever because of her life of cowardice, dishonor and treachery. But what kept everyone who know the truth in telling this was the fact that she actually came back from Gre'thor. She supposedly single-handedly destroyed guardians of Gre'thor, rallied tortured souls on a rebellion and even squashed Fek’Ihr himself. Was all that true or not did not matter, all present believed it and did not dare to object or mention Suhailah's utterly dishonorable behavior.

Upon return, emperor silently granted her Vor'Cha battlecruiser that she immediately renamed "Tartarus", again seemingly to mock captain MacDougal. After that the matter of Fek’Ihri, sword of Kahless, and Suhailah's treachery were never mentioned again, although Suhilah now tends to enjoy fearful looks mixed with despise from some Klingon commanders when she is around. She just smiles charmingly at them.

Starfleet has also managed to identify few more members of Suhailah's crew. First oen is Caliban the Usurer, short and ugly Suhailah's accountant and treasurer. He is despicable creature always resentful to everyone and everything. Once there were jokes about him being half-Ferengi, but those people soon found out how when they are dead and in space no one can hear them whisper. Second one is Suhailah's personal slave handmaiden Roshani. Roshani is young and seemingly innocent, but she is actually well versed in poisons and silent killing. Some rumors say that she is actually Suhailah's daughter, and some more daring say that she is a daughter of Suhailah and hated captain MacDougal, pointing out her unusually fair skin, alluding that her hatred of him may come from refused love.

MacDougal, friends and few enemies... ArcSlip

Arcadia was mostly involved in fleet support actions and in the meantime testing its new equipment for Starfleet. On board things are as merry as usual, even more so as of late since due to diplomatic involvements of Angel Fleet and MacDougal's former XO Bright, Arcadia got a new unusual member: a Breen named Carn. Carn's tactical knowledge has proven very useful but his Breen origins and silent personality did not bring him many friendship points.

Chief science officer Violeta on the other hand is elbows-deep in her new breeding project, and this one does not include tribbles but specifically her and Arquero of USS Independence... or at least she would like to start the "project". It is rumored that Arquero has started hiding in Jeffries tubes if she is nearby.

What worries captain MacDougal is continuing rise of Suhailah among Klingon ranks. Not only that she is being feared and respected by KDF, but also her personal activities are on the increase.

Her latest project included full refit of Tartarus with Orion technology and designs making it even more deadly than usual Vor'Cha. Combining Klingon firepower with Orion speed and adaptability Tartarus is now unique and deadly opponent.

After many successful diplomatic missions it was time that Angel Fleet finally gets their flagship. Named by the fleet, USS Angel is a true marvel of technology having many recent ship improvements, including Independence Fleet's transwarp drive. With this ship Angel Fleet can be anywhere in Alpha Quadrant in a very short time.

After the confrontation with new and improved Tartarus and Klingon space cannon, ensign Islia got critically injured and seemingly there was no hope for her. Aria, who finally reveled that she is actually mostly energy being who was trapped inside of Arcadia's computer core by accident and released by Arcadia's crew, tried to merge with ensign Islia's body in hope to restart her brain functions, but something unexpected happened. Merge was all too successful and while bringing back ensign Islia, Aria melded into her personality creating new person. Doctor Asrix speculated that current symbiosis is very similar to those of joined Trill, only this one is mostly at the psychological level. Since ensign Islia is a Trill, possible cause was her Trill brain structure.

While allies bicker, evil never sleeps. Suhailah's and her crew's rise of infamy hit the all time heights. After few daring and insane successful raids against Borg itself to steal their technology she sold that technology to Romulans only to betray Romulans and set them up again to be hunted by Borg. In the end only profiteer was her and Klingons saw her as honorable warrior not knowing about her shenanigans.

But Suhailah got bored of Klingons, and flying smelly and ugly Klingon ships. She amassed enough wealth to go back to her roots, being an independent pirate. As a farewell gift to KDF she intentionally botched important joined Federation-Klingon assignment. When asked to escort important diplomatic telepath to fluidic space to negotiate with the strange Undine Suhailah simply left diplomat's ship to be pounded to death by Undine ships. Then she turned on other escort ships and helped Undine destroy them all.

She returned as "sole survivor" from a bloody massacre not stopping or preventing any war. After all war is good for business and piracy. She fed a crock story to KDF about how as a sole survivor and not dying in combat dishonored her so she must leave the glorious Klingon service. Chancellor J’mpok was sad to lose such a great warrior, while emperor Kahless was all too happy about it.
With her stolen loot Suhailah invested into buying a latest model of Orion Marauder patrol cruiser and named it Paradox. Why? No one knows. She just kept chuckling about it.

Now Suhailah is back preying both on Klingons and Federation... and anyone else. Does she still dream of revenge against Captain MacDougal? Or maybe her new success give her new wings and new goals? Being a new Empress maybe?
