Independence Fleet uniform code

This thread is designed to show you a gallery of uniforms that is used by Starfleet Officer in the Independence Fleet. You may want to click on minature pictures to view a large image. Information how to recreate the different uniforms will be included, as is the color table attached to normal and dress uniforms.

Uniforms

• Standard duty uniform
  
  Requirement: None
  
  Upper body: Starfleet - The Next Generation - Film
  Lower body: TNG Split Bottom
  Feet: Short Boots
  
  This is the uniform that is used by all officers. Starfleet uniforms are broken down by color amongst the 3 existing divisions. Red is for the command division; it also includes flight controllers (or Helmsman). Gold is worn by the operations division, which includes security and engineering officers. Teal is reserved for the sciences division, among them are also medical personel.
  
  
• Open jacket

  The open jacket variant is sometimes seen among officers who are having a casual time in the ship's mess hall. Some officers stated though that one shouldn't be seen like this if a superior officer is around, as it might give a messy impression.
  
  
• Female variant uniform
  
  Requirements: C-Store Costume Pack: The Original Series or Costume Pack: Mirror Universe (and Costume Pack: Seven of Nine)
  
  Upper body: Starfleet - The Next Generation - Film
  Lower body: Skirt - Short Angled / Skirt - Short Tight
  Bare Legs: Stockings
  Feet: Boots Knee High / Seven of Nine Tall
  
  Some captains in the Independence Fleet petitioned at Starfleet Personal Resources to introduce a skirt variant for female officers. Among the reasons for this 23rd century inspired variant is that the performed effectiveness of starship personal has slightly increased. Counselors noted that the general mood among the crews has lightened a bit since its introduction.
  But for every advantage there comes a trade-off and this is no exception: It's proven that this variant is not ideal for away missions, specially for extreme climatic ones or combat engagements.
  
  
• Captain and flag officer dress uniform
  
  Requirements: Diplomatic rank Ambassador
  
  Upper body: Starfleet - Diplomat
  Lower body: Diplomat
  Feet: Shoes - Diplomat
  
  The dress uniforms are typically worn during diplomatic functions or celebrations in case of a promotion or wedding. With its white over black attire it is a stark contrast to the other uniforms worn in general service and display a formal appearance. Flag officers and captains wear a white undershirt.
  
  
• Officer dress uniform

  Lower body: Diplomat
  Feet: Shoes - Diplomat
  
  From the rank of an ensign up to a commander wears an officer a grey undershirt.
  
  
• Female officer dress uniform variant
  
  Requirements: Diplomatic rank Ambassador and C-Store Costume Pack: The Original Series and Costume Pack: Seven of Nine
  
  Upper body: Starfleet - Diplomat
  Lower body: Short Tight
  Bare legs: Stockings
  Feet: Seven of Nine - Tall
  
  The female variant also exists for the dress uniform.
  
  
• Cadet uniform
  
  Requirements: C-Store Costume Pack: Open Jacket
  
  Upper body: Starfleet TNG Command Variant
  Lower body: TNG Split Bottom
  Feet: Short Boots
  
  Cadets wear this regular uniform until they graduate Starfleet Academy. It consits of a grey overall with red shoulders and black boots.
  
  
• Combat suit
  
  Requirements: None
  
  How-to: Enable personal armor and/or personal kit
  
  Starfleet Tactical has developed these suits in order to protect Starfleet members from environmental hazards and enemy fire, increasing effectively their survivability while maintaining a high degree of flexibility. These suits are outfitted with personal shields based on Borg research, storage transporter buffers and multiphasic wave generators to scramble hostile transporter lock-ons. Additionally a mount system allows it to install various utility devices from a kit.
