CO becomes a free to play game

This is a good way to keep in touch with folks who play on a irregular base or don't want to pay a monthly fee. This might become handy to expand our imaginary "Millennium Heroes" Supergroup by dragging old CoH players we know to CO.

It looks to become the new business model of US based MMORPGs. They weren't able to compete for long with it.
I was actually surprised they started with the traditional model, expecting the free-to-play-but-packs-you'd-like-to-have-are-sold model.
I think Lord of the Rings Online has become free as well (but only for north americaners for now).
