Champions tabletop reference books

You're new to the Champions universe and would like to give a try to the tabletop game ?

Here is a suggestion about books you might want :
The HERO System rulebook Revised 5th Edition (if you can find one)
Champions, the genre book about superheroes, maybe not essential but useful

Millenium City, a great sourcebook about the signature city
Champions Universe, a book covering a lot of topics related to the Champions universe (timeline, major figures, important events etc)

Or you can pick the 6th edition rules :
Hero System 6th Edition Character Creation
Hero System 6th Edition Combat and Adventuring

Adaptation from 5th edition books should be minimal.
