Experience for MapTool characters

Hello hello,

Here is a summary of experience points gained over the various stories played on MapTool.
If I forgot one, just tell me.

Food Strike (Agri-workers vs the Consortium) : 2
The Leaking Mystery of Hrotha (a frozen planet with a leaking atmosphere) : 1
Memories from Bajor (Was Gul Dargan truly living in the Dracartan Empire under a new identity ?) : 3
Brown Dwarves (The unnatural number of brown dwarves in solar systems) : 2
The Energy Plague (energy micro-organisms causing mayhem on the ship) : 3
5-years Mission bonus (first year) 1

Total 12 XP

You can use them to :
- buy or improve skills (if you want to fix something we forgot, too)
- reduce disadvantages (if justified)
- buy or improve your talents (you can ask me the list again)
- improve primary or secondary characteristics (like STR, DEX or INT but also SPD or the defenses)

Yay, XP!!!

I have still some unused points and with the XP I should head to some things that are later established in STO.

I think I'll use them for the following talents:

• Command Officer: Starship Command (now that Tiron has somewhat settled himself in the center chair)
  
• Diplomat: Master Negociator (?)

And following training:

• Klingon Defense Forces Training: Weapon Familiarity: Klingon Weapons (Bat'leth training, as Tiron defeats klingon swordsmasters in STO)

But I'm a bit uncertain about Master Negociator. Would that one help me if say a random captain of a starship I meet in space there and try to negociate ("Say me where I can sell this Geoa Alloy at and get dilithium crystals?! You'll get .. hum, my andorian doctor if you answer me!") something or does that work only with political figures?

Persuasion (the skill coming with negociator) can be used for various things :
- Persuade/Convince
- Diplomatic Mediation/Negociation
- Intimidation
- Brainwashing/Recruiting

I just selected Persuade/Convince but any other can be selected (Diplomatic Mediation for example).

Here, the skill would help to have someone reveal where such trade could take place.
However, the trade itself is covered by the Trading skill, specifically.

I have the feeling I have a wrong approach of this specific situation then. Persuasion doesn't help as much as a trading skill then I guess? I might reconsider the skills and talents I want for Tiron.

Can you give me an insight what Merchant: Find Suckers is good for?

To find people who are the most likely to be good targets for your trade (ie : easy preys).

Actually, you can create variant easily on this model to Find Drinking Buddies or Find Klingon Opera Fanatics, even if it's unlikely those two categories are truly useful to find
Basically, the idea is to "Find" someone or something based on very specific criters. A sort of intuition or knack to recognize others.
